Another between-the seasons scarf, long and narrow, our MONOSTRIPE scarf, hand-knit in Kathmandu, is the result of an ingenious but simple bit of textile engineering. We dye these alternately 100% SILK & 100% SOY scarves only once, and let the sheer silk stripe soak up the color while the soy resists it. The soy itself ("vegetarian's cashmere") is made from the recycled run-off in the manufacture of tofu. A casual scarf, great fun, and quite versatile.
